Chen Liangyi
 


Chen Liangyi, male, research fellow, doctor tutor; graduated from Department of Optical Instrument, Zhejiang University in 1964, and has served in Xi’an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences since Sept. of the year as assigned; director of Department of Optical Engineering in 1987; assistant to the director of the Institute in 1988; employed as research fellow in 1989; director of Trial Production Factory in 1990 as concurrent post;employed as doctor tutor in 1995; member of expert committee of Xi’an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics;
In 1982 attended the 15th International High-speed Photography and Photonics Meeting in USA; in 1984 visited Japan for inspection; in 1995 worked in UK Cavendish Lab, Cambridge University as visiting scholar. 
Research Fellow Chen Liangyi has long been engaged in study of modern photoelectric measurement technique and development of relevant equipment;in study of optical pointing technique, underwater optics and underwater photoelectric  detection technique and laser beam control and diameter diagnosis technology.
Research achievements made over the years: one top-grade prize of National Scientific and Technological Progress Award;one National Science Conference award;five Scientific and Technological Progress Award Class II of Chinese Academy of Sciences;one Scientific and Technological Progress Award Class III of Chinese Academy of Sciences;one Scientific and Technological Progress Award Class II of Commission of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense;one Shaanxi Scientific and Technological Progress Award Class II and one Class III;one Scientific and Technological Progress Award Class III of Shaanxi Academy of Sciences;advanced individual of the Ministry of Space Industry.
By far Research Fellow Chen Liangyi has educated more than 10 doctors and 20 masters; and has had 22 graduates under their programs, including 12 for Ph. D and  10 for Master. He has published about 100 theses and been granted five authorized patents.
